March 29, 2026 Update: Men's Doubles, scheduled for April 21 has been canceled.

 

Hello GMP Members,

Three tournament days are scheduled April 21-23. The deadline to sign up is one week prior to the tournament date and we need at least 4 teams for each division.

 

Mixed Doubles is happening on April 22 with 7 teams signed up, space for one more and any alternates (if a team needs to drop out).

 

Women’s Doubles, scheduled for April 23,  has 3 sign ups with 1 more team in the wings to help make that tournament happen.

 

Men's Doubles, scheduled for April 21, has 0 teams signed up at this point,  so we decided to cancel it and focus on the other two. That will open the gym to play on Tuesday 4/21.    

If the April timing doesn't work, we’ve got 2 other team tournaments scheduled this year, in August and in late November.

The Tournament Committee

Your Tournament Committee is planning our Spring Fling Team Tournaments:

​Mixed Team Doubles. Wednesday, April 22 Cut-off date for sign up is Wednesday, April 15

Women’s Team Double Thursday, April 23. Cut-off date for sign up is Thursday, April 16

 

Sign-up sheets are now at the Church. When signing up please include your first and last

name please, and sign up as a team. There’s room for 8 teams in each event.

Arrive at 8:30, Events start at 9:00.

 

We are asking for a $5 fee per person to cover prizes, medals and expenses. Anything left over

will be given to the Social Committee towards our summer BBQ and Christmas Party.

These events are definitely competitive but everyone is welcome to find a partner and

compete. We hope these events offer competitive and exciting play with good participation

and fun for all!
